Sentry Electrical Contractors Co., was started in 1978 as an independently owned electrical contracting company.
Sentry helped build iconic sites in our Dallas culture including the Hyatt Regency Dallas, Reunion Tower, and many other buildings that make up what we know as the Metroplex skyline.
Sentry Telecom was born in July of 1997 when JJ Slagle, son of the owner, Nolan Slagle, started a division of the company known as Sentry Telecom. Shortly after Misty Slagle brought her management skills to the company. Sentry focused on low voltage systems, voice and data infrastructures, and traditional telephone systems. Sentry Telecom incorporated in 2007 to become Sentry Telecom, LLC dba Sentry Technical Services. . Sentry continued to grow long after the electrical portion of the business was retired and began to focus on security, CCTV, and access control in 2008. Continuing to provide new services a new division was created. In 2013, Sentry Air emerged and began to provide Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning services to businesses and residential customers.
Sentry Technical Services is now a certified woman owned minority business and continues to grow and provide solutions to customers, contributing to the impact Sentry Electric once had in this community. This year, 2017 will be the 2oth Year anniversary of Sentry and we are proud to have been serving Dallas for these two decades.
